Delicious Italian-inspired comfort food at reasonable prices. In addition to happy hours (some drinks and appetizers are discounted) on the weekdays, they also have special offers on nearly every day of the week. We came in on a Thursday for the family meal which means for every entree you order, you can get a kids meal for free. This location shares a parking lot with a number of restaurants as well as the main theater in Union City. Therefore, during peak hours, it may be a bit difficult to find parking but if you're willing to walk a little, you'll be fine. Once you enter, you'll be greeted by the host (if they're free) and be brought to your table. The menus are available via the QR code and orders can be made online or through the server. If you place your order using the online system, you'll be able to checkout and review your bill. Any discounts will also be applied automatically. We ended up ordering a chicken piadine (definitely recommended for first timers, think salad in a flatbread) and garden pizza and paired that with complimentary kids spaghetti and meatballs and kids mac and cheese. Both kids entrees were definitely enough for the kids and quite flavorful! We also took advantage of the happy hour menu and ordered the calamari fritti. For each item, you'll be able to specify at which point of the mega service it should be served (you can order items to be delivered all at the same time). The food doesn't take too long to make, however pizza is cooked in the stone oven in the back. While you wait for your food, take in the smells and views of the kitchen and enjoy some screen time from the TVs hanging up top. Once the food comes, you'll get a good whiff of the sauces and cheeses spread across your dishes and your mouth will start to water. Be sure to share as each dish is big enough for multiple people to taste. Throughout the meal service, the staff were great to check in on us and were quick to provide extra plates and boxes for us to take the leftovers home. As more patrons came in for dinner service, it definitely started to get more challenging to get their attention but they still made their way over periodically. Overall, Tomatina, although an established chain, continues to bring in customers with deals and discounts and does a great job ensuring a pleasant dining experience for their patrons. The food quality is pretty consistently good and prices are relatively fair. There aren't a whole lot of places that serve piadine and its refreshing taste is enough to bring me back! Plus with family meal Thursdays, you know you won't break the bank feeding the kiddos and have a great time out.

My bf and I went on a weekday after lunch around 2pm and were the only people dining. We had a great experience the servers were very quick in seating and the food was great. My bf was not the biggest fan of the pizza but the pasta def made up for it. The parm bread was great as well prob one of my fav things we ordered. This might just be our new local lunch spot when we're craving some pasta! 4/5 on taste 4/5 service 5/5 cleanliness

Leaving a review solely for how delicious the creamy pesto rigatoni is. It's a must-have if you love creamy pastas. To order, you go to the make your own pasta part of the menu, and select creamy pesto + rigatoni. I added chicken because I was afraid it wouldn't feel like I'm missing something but both my parents didn't feel it was necessary (and they love meat) as it didn't add any additional flavors. The ambiance is always nice, very cozy and warm atmosphere. Our server checked in on us frequently as well. Minestrone soup (not pictured) was more on the sour side, and the PS garden pizza had a strong olive flavor. Our total ended up being $66 after tax and tip, and we ordered 3 entrees (if you count soup as one).

Excellent! First time coming in this restaurant. You can do casual clothes or you can just dress up, whatever you prefer. The place is sublime and well organized. I ordered mama's special spaghetti with meatballs for to go. And i got it in less than 10 minutes! Would you believe that! Oh well, i will come back on this place definitely.

Not sure why this place has only 3 stars. I have been here 3-4 times and this place never disappoints. It is right in front of theaters so we always come here for a quick bite or drinks before the movies. Food is pretty decent. We have been lucky to always get the nicest servers. Last night we only had 25 minutes before the movies. Our male server ( wish I had asked him his name) was amazing. Drinks were great. We were in and out on time. Thanks to all Tomatina staff for always taking care of their customers.
